PeproMene Bio, Inc. announced today that itsCAR-T Cell Therapy Targeting B Cell Activating Factor Receptor (BAFFR)PMB-CT01 Achieves Positive Results in Phase 1 Clinical Trial for Relapsed/Refractory Acute B Lymphoblastic Leukemia (r/r B-ALL).The first patient in the first cohort achieved complete remission one month after treatment.It is worth mentioning that,The patient had relapsed after prior chemotherapy and blinatumomab treatment, and his disease was CD19- and CD22-negative at the time of relapse, meaning he had very limited treatment options available.。

BAFFR-Targeted CAR-T Utilizes a Single-Chain Variable Fragment Antibody Against BAFFR and a Second-Generation Signaling Domain Comprising CD3ζ and 4-1BB. Preclinical Studies Have Shown That This CAR-T Cell Therapy Can Eliminate Human Lymphoma and Leukemia Cells In Vitro and In Animal Models. PMB-CT01 Was Developed in the Laboratory of Dr. Larry W. Kwak, Vice President and Deputy Director of the City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center and Scientific Founder of PeproMene. PeproMene Has Obtained the Intellectual Property License Related to PMB-CT01 from City of Hope.
At the 2023 American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting held in San Diego, PeproMene Bio presented a clinical trial report on PMB-CT01 for the treatment of relapsed/refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma. All three patients achieved durable complete remission with minimal therapy-related toxicity. The results announced today further supplement this trial.
