Personnel Changes at Fosun Pharmaceutical
On January 17, Fosun Pharmaceutical released two announcements, respectively declaring: Effective January 17, 2024, Mr. Yuan Ning will no longer serve as the Vice President of Fosun Pharmaceutical; upon the nomination of the Chief Executive Officer, it was agreed to promote and appoint Ms. Feng Rongli and Ms. Li Jing (both previously serving as Senior Vice Presidents of the company) as Executive Presidents. The term of their new positions will commence on January 17, 2024, and end upon the expiration of the current Board of Directors' term.
WuXi Biologics Chief Technology Officer Retires
On January 15, WuXi Biologics announced that Zhou Weichang will retire on March 31 and step down from his positions as the company's Chief Technology Officer and President of Global Biopharmaceutical Development and Operations. Sherry Gu has been appointed and will assume the roles of Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President, Head of Biopharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing, after Zhou Weichang's retirement.
WANTAI BioPharm Appoints New General Manager
On the evening of January 15, WANTAI BioPharm announced that Qiu Zixin would apply to resign from his position as General Manager of the company. After resignation, he will continue to serve as the Chairman of the Board and related positions on the Board's special committees. Meanwhile, WANTAI BioPharm appointed Jiang Zhiming as the new General Manager.

Seven Prohibited Behaviors for Pharmaceutical Representatives Reinforced in One Region
On January 15, the Anhui Provincial Drug Administration released a message stating that the Seventh Branch had recently issued a "Reminder and Warning Letter on Regulating the Behavior of Pharmaceutical Representatives" to all pharmaceutical and medical device production and operation enterprises within its jurisdiction. The letter reminded enterprises to strengthen self-discipline, operate legally, and conduct business with integrity. It was mentioned that the "Reminder and Warning Letter" reiterated and clarified five prohibited behaviors for each drug marketing authorization holder and seven prohibited behaviors for pharmaceutical representatives.

BeOne Medicines Announces Submission of the 15th Indication for Anti-PD-1 Monoclonal Antibody
On January 19, BeOne Medicines announced that the supplemental Biologics License Application (sBLA) for its PD-1 inhibitor tislelizumab for a new indication has been accepted by the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of the China National Medical Products Administration (NMPA). The application is for perioperative treatment (covering neoadjuvant + adjuvant) in patients with resectable non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). According to BeOne Medicines' press release, in China, tislelizumab has cumulatively submitted 15 indication applications accepted by the CDE, of which 12 indications have been approved by the NMPA.
