Today, AC Immune SA (NASDAQ: ACIU), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company pioneering precision medicine for neurodegenerative diseases, announced that it will regain the rights to the anti-Aβ antibody crenezumab and the anti-Tau antibody semorinemab following the termination of its collaboration agreement with Genentech and Roche, members of the Roche Group.GlobalAll rights. Both antibodies have been evaluated in clinical studies for Alzheimer's disease (AD). AC Immune will also regain the rights to clinically test existing GMP drugs and related data generated under each agreement. Before deciding on potential further development and other opportunities, AC Immune will carefully review and evaluate the available datasets, including the final open-label extension results of the Lauriet trial.
