Eisai's Antiepileptic Drug Fycompa® Injection Approved in Japan

On January 23, according to Eisai's official WeChat account, the injectable formulation of Fycompa® (Perampanel, trade name: Vontlet®), an anti-epileptic drug developed by Eisai, received marketing approval from Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare on the 18th. It can be used as an alternative therapy for patients who are temporarily unable to receive oral administration.
