Phanes Therapeutics Submits IND Application for First-in-Class DLL3/CD47 Bispecific Antibody PT217 in China

On January 24, the official CDE website showed,Phanes Submits PT217 Clinical Trial Application Accepted for Review。

PT217 is a first-in-class bispecific antibody targeting DLL3 and CD47, for the treatment of small cell lung cancer and other neuroendocrine cancers.。

PT217 can directly kill tumor cells through the phagocytic action of macrophages (ADCP activity) and the cytotoxic action of natural killer cells (ADCC activity), and by simultaneously targeting the overexpressed DLL3 and CD47 on the surface of tumor cells, it expands the scope of tumor killing.

In addition, PT217 is expected to guide tumor cells into phagocytic antigen-presenting cells (APCs), induce the presentation of tumor neoantigens, and indirectly activate T cells to kill DLL3-expressing tumor cells by recognizing tumor neoantigens, thereby stimulating the acquired immune system.

The anti-CD47 arm of PT217, through differentiated design, exhibits minimal binding to human red blood cells while maintaining strong binding activity to CD47 on the surface of tumor cells.
