Ophthalmic DrugsVabysmo remains the largest growth driver (+324%)。Vabysmo, launched in early 2022, has achieved sales of 2.4 billion Swiss francs and has become one of Roche's best-selling drugs.

Vabysmo has now been approved in the EU and nine other countries worldwide (including the United States, Japan, and the United Kingdom) for patients with "wet" age-related macular degeneration and diabetic macular edema.

Looking Forward to 202In 4 years, Roche expects group sales to achieve mid-single-digit growth. The target for core earnings per share is to grow in line with sales (at constant exchange rates), excluding the impact of resolving tax disputes in 2023. Roche expects to further increase the dividend denominated in Swiss francs.
Roche CEO Thomas Schinecker stated"We achieved good sales growth, offsetting the sharp decline in COVID-19 sales.Roche's core business (excluding COVID-19) continues to maintain strong growth momentum, with a +8% increase at constant exchange rates.。Therefore, we exceeded the guidance for 2023. Meanwhile,The significant appreciation of the Swiss franc against most currencies has severely impacted performance denominated in Swiss francs.. We have also made good progress in our pharmaceuticals and diagnostics pipeline.A recent highlight is inavolisib, an oral therapy being studied in a Phase III trial., the therapy shows, reducing the risk of death or disease progression by more than 50% in patients with advanced, difficult-to-treat breast cancer. We look forward to bringing this drug to patients as soon as possible. Our new partnerships and acquisitions address disease areas with highly unmet needs, such as inflammatory bowel disease and cardiometabolic disorders. We are well-prepared for future growth.
