Publication of Provincial Online Transaction Data: CSL’s Human Albumin, Qilu’s Bevacizumab, Consun/Guangxi Yulin’s Niaoduqing Granules… Multiple Drugs with Annual Procurement Amounts Exceeding 100 Million Yuan; The Top 5% of Pharmaceutical Suppliers Account for More Than Half of the Total Procurement Amount.

Top Single Product Purchase Amount:

Human Albumin, Bevacizumab, Niaoduqing Granules…

Recently, the Public Resources Trading Center of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region released the "Notice on Publishing the Online Pharmaceutical Trading Situation in Guangxi for the Fourth Quarter of 2023," which involves a list of 1,909 pharmaceutical enterprises and 8,562 pharmaceuticals.

Excluding 46 drugs with zero procurement amount, the total procurement amount of 8,516 listed drugs in Guangxi in the fourth quarter was nearly 3.934 billion yuan. In terms of individual products, four drugs had a procurement amount exceeding 30 million yuan, in the following order:CSL Behring AG's Human Albumin、Qilu Pharmaceutical's Bevacizumab、Consun/GUANGXI YULIN PHARMACEUTICAL GROUP CO., LTD.'s Uremiclear Granules、Huadong Medicine's Indobufen Tablets。

As in previous quarters, the top spot remains withCSL Behring AG's Human Albumin, the procurement amount reachedRMB 48,310,700, more than 10 million yuan higher than the second place. Adding the previous three quarters, the drug in Guangxi...Total procurement amount exceeding 187 million yuan(Q1-Q3 were 39.5363 million yuan, 35.9541 million yuan, and 63.5422 million yuan, respectively).

In 2023,Qilu Pharmaceutical's BevacizumabThe procurement amount each quarter shows a gradual upward trend, with the fourth quarter...RMB 36,664,100The procurement amount ranked second, hitting a new high for a single quarter in 2023.Total procurement amount exceeds 119 million yuan(Q1-Q3 were 23.8839 million yuan, 26.5571 million yuan, and 31.9699 million yuan, respectively).

Consun Pharmaceutical Group/GUANGXI YULIN PHARMACEUTICAL GROUP CO., LTD.'s Uremiclear GranulesThe procurement amount in the fourth quarter reachedRMB 33,094,500, for that quarterThe Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with the highest procurement amount.Combined with the data from the previous three quarters, its procurement amount has also maintained a quarterly upward trend.The total procurement amount for the year is close to 113 million yuan.(Q1-Q3 were 24.0034 million yuan, 27.3879 million yuan, and 28.1591 million yuan, respectively, with Q2 being the combined total of two specifications/packages).

Top Purchasing Amount Enterprises:

Among the 1,909 pharmaceutical companies that disclosed transaction details this time, a total of 12 companies had procurement amounts exceeding 30 million yuan, including,Huadong Medicine, YANGTZE RIVER PHARMACEUTICAL GROUP JIANGSU JOINT STOCK CO., LTD, Qilu PharmaceuticalRanked in the top three with procurement amounts of 91.6281 million yuan, 75.9239 million yuan, and 68.9322 million yuan, respectively;GUANGXI YULIN PHARMACEUTICAL GROUP CO., LTD., Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd., Hengrui PharmaThe procurement amount exceeded 50 million yuan.

In terms of specific products by company,Chronic disease treatment drugs account for more than half of Huadong Medicine's procurement amount.The hypoglycemic drug Pioglitazone Metformin Hydrochloride Tablets were the highest procurement amount product, with a combined total of two specifications reaching 32,670,400 yuan; the antithrombotic drug Indobufen Tablets were the highest procurement amount single product, reaching 30,983,100 yuan.

The drug with the highest procurement amount by Yangtze River Pharmaceutical is its exclusive product, Su Huang Zhi Ke Capsule., reaching 16.3679 million yuan; the single-season procurement amounts for Epalrestat Tablets and Gudichlorpheniramine Maleate Tablets also exceeded 10 million yuan, at 11.8222 million yuan (combined total of two specifications/packages) and 10.7104 million yuan, respectively.

The top varieties in terms of procurement amount by Qilu Pharmaceutical are all biologics.Among them, the procurement amount of Bevacizumab Injection was the highest, reaching 36.6641 million yuan; followed by Pegylated Recombinant Human Granulocyte Stimulating Factor Injection, reaching 6.62 million yuan (combined total for two specifications/packages); Human Granulocyte Stimulating Factor Injection ranked third, with a combined total procurement amount of 4.6947 million yuan for two specifications/packages; the procurement amount of Recombinant Human Interleukin-11 for Injection also reached 4.422 million yuan (combined total for two specifications/packages).

Compared with the pharmaceuticals sector, the distribution and delivery环节 is more regional and slightly more concentrated.

In the fourth quarter, a total of 212 distribution companies in Guangxi had transactions. The top 10 companies with the highest procurement amount had a combined procurement amount of approximately 2.093 billion yuan, which means,The top 4.7% of distribution enterprises account for 53.9% of the total procurement amount.

Pharmaceutical companies whose procurement amounts rank in the top 4.7% (the top 90 companies) have a combined procurement amount of 1.827 billion yuan, accounting for approximately 47% of the total procurement amount.
