Bayer Streamlines Pharmaceutical Division Leadership and Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

Bayer issued a statement on March 20, announcing the streamlining of the leadership team of its pharmaceuticals division to promote the next stage of growth. Effective April 1, Sebastian Guth will assume the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer, continuing to report to Stefan Oelrich, President of Bayer's Pharmaceuticals Division. Starting June 1, Christine Roth, head of the oncology strategic business unit, will lead the newly established "Global Commercialization" organization.
