Selection Criteria

· Top 15 List of China's Innovative Drug Investment Institutions

PharmaCube has selected 15 Chinese innovative drug investment institutions that actively embrace change, proactively navigate cycles, and provide solid trust and support to outstanding entrepreneurs and cutting-edge technologies. The selection was based on the total number of investment events in 2023 by investment institutions, the number of early-stage project (pre-Series B) investment events, and the number of lead investment events by the institutions.

· Top 15 List of China's Innovative Drug Startups

PharmaCube, based on its self-developed scoring system and pharmaceutical industry big data, evaluates global innovative drug companies from dimensions such as innovation capability and R&D progress, assigning different weights to these factors. It comprehensively calculates scores to select the listed companies.

· Top 15 List of China's Innovative Drug Business Development

In 2023, China's innovative drug industry witnessed a surge in BD (Business Development) overseas expansion. According to the PharmaCube NextPharma® database, in terms of innovative drug transactions including collaborations, licensing, and acquisitions, there were a total of 77 outbound licensing deals in China, with disclosed transaction values exceeding $38 billion USD. Among these deals, PharmaCube evaluated factors such as deal value, number of transactions, project worth, and cooperation formats, assigning different weights to each factor to select the top 15 transactions and the companies behind them.
