AbbVie to Acquire AI-Driven Biopharma Landos for Over $200 Million

The transaction is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2024, subject to customary closing conditions, including approval by Landos shareholders. It is reported that Landos' main experimental drug, NX-13, is a potential First-in-Class (FIC) oral NLRX1 agonist for the treatment of ulcerative colitis, which has currently entered Phase II clinical trials.
