The Medtronic Lingang Medical Technology Industry Base project was officially signed and landed in the Lingang Special Area of the Shanghai Free Trade Zone in 2021. Benefiting from the industrial cluster advantages of Lingang and multi-layered policy support, it achieved breakthrough progress within just two years and announced the official launch of its first production line in June 2023.

Lin Song stated that the official rollout of this first product not only demonstrates the local R&D and production capabilities of the base but also marks a new phase in its development and construction. In the future, we will continue to invest more in local innovation, accelerate product innovation incubation and talent development, and deliver cardiac disease solutions that better meet local needs in the Chinese market to serve more patients.
