Innovative Drug R&D Developer
On April 3, Ractigen Therapeutics announced the first self-developedSmall activating RNA (saRNA) Drug RAG-01The first subject has been dosed in the human trial conducted at GenesisCare in Australia.

RAG-01 is a specific targeted activator of tumor suppressor genesp21Double-stranded saRNA drug, activated through the RNAa mechanismp21Gene expression, to suppress tumor cell proliferation and induce apoptosis and senescence. Preclinical efficacy studies have shown that through Ractigen Therapeutics' self-developed small nucleic acid delivery system LiCO™, RAG-01 treatment significantly inhibits the growth of bladder cancer tumors in animal models while demonstrating robust safety.
The trial, which has just completed the first subject dosing in Australia, is an open-label, multi-center study designed to evaluate RAG-01.In patients with non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) who have failed BCG treatmentThe safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and preliminary clinical efficacy. Preclinical data indicate that RAG-01 can effectively inhibit bladder cancer tumor growth in model animals and has demonstrated good safety.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer of RactigenDr. Longcheng Li"This marks an important milestone in our development of innovative therapies for NMIBC patients, demonstrating the efficient clinical translation capabilities of the Ractigen team. The initiation of this clinical study also represents the first clinical validation of Ractigen Therapeutics' saRNA platform, which is a milestone of great significance for us. Ractigen will continue to advance the clinical development of RAG-01 and strive for positive progress, with the hope of bringing new treatment options to bladder cancer patients as soon as possible."
