Shanghai Securities News China Securities Network News – The official website of the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of the National Medical Products Administration shows that the clinical trial application for Amycretin tablets, a Class 1 new drug by Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk, has been accepted.

It is reported that this is a long-acting co-agonist of oral GLP-1 receptor and amylin receptor developed by Novo Nordisk, as a new generation of weight-loss therapy. In a recent small-scale Phase 1 clinical study published by Novo Nordisk, patients who received treatment with this product for 12 weeks achieved a weight loss of 13.1% (vs 1.1% in the placebo group).
