Through CMEF, GE Healthcare announced its latest collaborations in industry-academia-research innovation, including strategic cooperation intentions with Shenzhen Bay Laboratory and Shenzhen Medical Academy, Fudan University School of Management, and Zhejiang University College of Biosystems Engineering.

It is reported that the strategic cooperation with Shenzhen Bay will focus on the frontiers and application fields of biomedical imaging, and carry out in-depth cooperation in the prevention and treatment of serious diseases. It aims to promote the implementation of scientific research collaboration and innovative integrated solutions for precision diagnosis and treatment, and accelerate the incubation and transformation of scientific research achievements. The cooperation with Fudan University School of Management will center on educational development strategy, covering topics such as medical-enterprise cooperation management, supply chain quality and service management in the healthcare industry, and the construction of smart hospitals. Both parties will jointly promote intellectual exchange and systematic innovation between industry and academia. The partnership with Zhejiang University (ZJU) will be based on clinical needs, promoting research on key core technologies such as high-end medical equipment, biomedical imaging, and intelligent medical devices. It will also explore the clinical application feasibility of scientific and technological achievements and establish an academic exchange mechanism to encourage regular academic interactions. This initiative aims to cultivate and deliver professional talents to the industry.

In the precise diagnosis of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseasesGE Healthcare's China R&D team designed the innovative ultra-high-end Quantum Platform CT Apex Expert, breaking through innovations in imaging chain design. It uses a high-energy quantum tube and a 16 cm wide-body detector, increasing the core imaging chain rotation speed to 0.23 seconds, with full-heart ultra-fast freezing at 19.5ms under any condition, achieving cardiac imaging that combines low dose and high definition. This greatly improves accuracy and examination efficiency, providing support for regional central hospitals to conduct precise cardiac imaging examinations; SIGNA™ Architect with DL Genesis MRI is the first domestically produced GE Healthcare equipment equipped with FDA-approved deep learning technology AIR.™Recon DL’s High-End Research 3T MRI: Signal-to-Noise Ratio Increased by 4 Times, Significantly Enhances Detection of Small Lesions Under 2mm Such as Pituitary Microadenomas and Intracranial Multiple Sclerosis, While Greatly Reducing Scan Time.

In the field of women's healthWhether it is the Senographe Pristina Hygeia, a research and clinical breast machine with "all-round puncture" capabilities, or the ultra-high-end obstetrics and gynecology flagship machine Voluson E10, both can leverage their unique imaging technologies to push the "checkpoint" of disease diagnosis and treatment forward, providing more comprehensive care for women of all ages. Among them, the ultra-high-end breast machine Pristina Hygeia features next-generation high-definition contrast enhancement technology and iterative tomography technology, which can present subtle lesions more clearly without being affected by breast gland density, and achieve biopsy under the guidance of a breast machine as well as preoperative positioning.

Integrated Diagnosis and Treatment of Critical Illnesses such as CancerGE Healthcare has introduced the ONE MI nuclear medicine precision diagnosis and treatment ecosystem solution, which enables precise staging and early integrated diagnosis and treatment of serious diseases such as liver cancer, prostate cancer, and Alzheimer's disease. It helps clinicians determine precise treatment plans and evaluate efficacy, supporting the "one county, one department" initiative and the construction of precision oncology diagnosis and treatment capabilities. Also on display at the event was the first domestically produced high-end research PET/CT Discovery Future from Beijing Imaging Equipment Manufacturing Base in the field of nuclear medicine. This device features 25mm-thick crystal material, improving photon collection efficiency by 60%, allowing clinicians to obtain higher-definition, low-dose images with ultra-high sensitivity. Additionally, the equipment is equipped with a built-in 4D digital gating system, 5D vector analysis system, and 5D flexible calibration platform, enabling acquisition of 3-minute breath-hold images in a single scan, significantly enhancing the accuracy of lesion volume measurement and SUV quantification. Moreover, the device provides more accurate imaging and quantitative assessment for lesions in areas such as tumors, cardiac, and neurological systems, further improving clinicians' precision diagnostic capabilities in nuclear medicine.

In addition, the domestically produced hybrid operating room robot Allia™ IGS 7 and ultrasound visualization-guided surgical treatment solutions enable high-definition imaging of imaging equipment to play a crucial guiding role in surgeries of the digestive, nervous, and urinary systems, ensuring precise surgical treatment.

On display were also the Vscan Air™, a wireless handheld ultrasound diagnosis system, and a new application for renal dialysis patients. Based on real-time guided puncture technology, it can visualize the size and inner wall conditions of blood vessels, significantly improving the success rate of punctures.


Improving "Quality" at the County/Grassroots LevelGE Healthcare showcased the Prime Elite 1.5T MRI, which leverages the latest Full-Effect RF technology to achieve Full-Effect 24-channel single-field imaging in clinical applications, with an RF utilization rate of 99%. It is capable of displaying more tissue details and is configured for the ten most common clinical diagnosis and treatment scenarios at county-level People's Hospitals, County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospitals, and County Maternity Hospitals."Decathlon" Solution, Fully Meeting the Medical Service Needs of County Areas; While Integrating SIGNA™Butler 5G MRI管家, and can also remotely connect with experts for online training, promoting the overall improvement of imaging standards in county-level hospitals.

In terms of improving "quality" and "efficiency"This time, the innovative achievement of intelligent service that combines virtual and real —— IQ Engine Zhiying Engine —— was also premiered and exhibited for the first time. As an imaging equipment intelligent renewal platform fully upgraded from both software and hardware levels, IQ Engine "Zhiying Engine" introduces deep learning technology into existing hospital equipment, providing more cost-effective renewal for MR equipment throughout their entire lifecycle. After being empowered by the platform, the equipment not only achieves better image quality, faster scanning speed, and more accurate diagnosis but can also be customized to expand clinical application functions according to the hospital's needs, offering a variety of solutions.
