Leveraging the industrial foundation and platform resources of the company, as well as the research capabilities and talent reserves of universities and laboratories, GE Healthcare and its partners will carry out comprehensive cooperation in R&D innovation, accelerating the transformation of scientific achievements, and long-term talent cultivation. By integrating industry, academia, research, and application, they aim to promote full-chain innovation, facilitate the transformation of scientific research achievements, and improve diagnostic and treatment standards, allowing the fruits of boundaryless innovation to benefit Chinese patients and doctors more quickly.




GE HealthcareThe strategic cooperation with Shenzhen Bay will focus on the frontiers and application fields of biomedical imaging, and deepen collaboration in the prevention and treatment of major diseases. It aims to promote the implementation of integrated solutions for scientific research synergy and precision diagnosis and treatment, accelerate the incubation and transformation of scientific research achievements, and contribute to the high-quality, open, and integrated development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.



GE HealthcareFudan University School of Management will establish an educational development strategy cooperation focusing on hospital-enterprise collaboration management, quality and service management in the healthcare industry supply chain, and smart hospital construction, jointly promoting intellectual exchange and systematic innovation between industry and academia., comprehensively empowering the high-quality development of the healthcare industry.

GE Healthcare and the College of Biomedical Engineering and Instrument Science at Zhejiang UniversityThe collaboration will be based on clinical needs, promoting the research of key core technologies in advanced medical equipment such as biomedical imaging and intelligent medical instruments, exploring the clinical application feasibility of scientific and technological achievements, and establishing an academic exchange mechanism to promote regular academic exchanges between the two parties, cultivating and delivering professional talents to the industry.


For many years, GE Healthcare has been actively exploring innovative models, collaborating with industry, academia, research, and application as well as the upstream and downstream of the innovation chain to accelerate the transformation of innovative achievements. Last year, GE Healthcare reached strategic cooperation agreements with the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology and the Agency for Science, Technology and Research in Singapore to expand joint innovation platforms. Since 2021, GE Healthcare has established three major "Innovation Centers" in Beijing, Wuxi, and Shanghai, one each year. Based on the "Innovation Center" model, it has currently partnered with over 40 organizations, incorporating more than 30 artificial intelligence products and technologies for integrated innovation and clinical application.

Before the start of CMEF, GE Healthcare China launched a strategic cooperation with the National Center for Infectious Diseases and the Shanghai Center for Infection and Immunity Science and Technology Innovation. The collaboration focuses on scientific research innovation, training and education, and application promotion in the comprehensive cycle management of hepatitis patients. Together, they aim to promote the early diagnosis and treatment of hepatitis and related liver cancers, improve the long-term survival rate and quality of life for patients with these cancers, and continuously empower the implementation of the Healthy China strategy.
