Lingyi Bio Launches China's First Phase I Clinical Trial of Gene Therapy for Type I Gaucher Disease

Recently, "A Multicenter, Open-label, Single-arm, Single-dose, Dose-escalation and Expansion Phase I/II Clinical Study to Evaluate the Safety, Tolerability, and Efficacy of LY-M001 Injection in Adult Patients with Type I Gaucher Disease" has been successfully initiated at the Institute of Hematology & Blood Diseases Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (referred to as "IHBDH"). Other research centers will also be launched successively. Professor Zhang Fengkui is the leading investigator of this project. LY-M001 Injection was originally developed by Lingyi Biotech Co., Ltd. Attendees at this launch meeting included Professor Zhang Fengkui and his research team from IHBDH, Dr. Lin Qing, Dr. Chen Yixiong, and their research team from Lingyi Biotech. This is the first gene therapy drug registration clinical study project for Type I Gaucher disease in China.
