Shanghai Securities News China Securities Network News, April 17th: Qilu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. held the first shipment ceremony for its Ranibizumab Injection and Cetrorelix Acetate for Injection. After the ceremony, the ophthalmic drug Ranibizumab Injection will be shipped to the UK, Germany, France, Spain, and Poland markets, while the fertility-assisting drug Cetrorelix Acetate for Injection will be sent to the United States.

According to reports, Ranibizumab Injection is the world's first approved anti-VEGF drug for ophthalmology. The "going global" of Qilu Pharmaceutical's Ranibizumab Injection holds landmark significance—it is not only the first Ranibizumab produced in China to be approved in the EU, but also Shandong’s first exported monoclonal antibody biosimilar and China’s first successfully "exported" ophthalmic biologic drug.

At the same time, Qilu Pharmaceutical's Cetrorelix Acetate for Injection has been approved in both China and the U.S. in April 2024, becoming the company's 25th formulation product to be exported to the U.S. market, further consolidating and expanding Qilu Pharmaceutical's market share and influence in the United States.

Data shows that Qilu Pharmaceutical's foreign trade exports in the first quarter have steadily increased, achieving 1.28 billion yuan in revenue from human medicine product exports. Notably, the formulation sector saw significant growth, with exports to Europe increasing by 54% year-on-year and exports to the US growing by 20%. (He Xinyi)
