MariTide (AMG 133) is a potential "first-in-class" investigational antibody-peptide conjugate (antibody-peptide conjugate) that conjugates two glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) analogs at specific sites of a monoclonal antibody targeting the gastric inhibitory polypeptide receptor (GIPR), activating GLP-1 receptors while inhibiting GIPR.Previously inNature MetabolismPublished onPhase 1 Clinical Trial ResultsResults showed that obese patients who received a high dose of AMG 133 treatment once a month for 85 days experienced a 14.5% reduction in body weight (approximately 26 pounds). Notably, these patients maintained an 11.2% weight loss even 150 days after discontinuing the medication.

LAG-3 Immunotherapy Combination Achieves Near Complete Remission in Over 60% of Refractory Cancer Patients

In this Phase 2 clinical trial initiated by the researchers, no new safety issues were found with the eftilagimod alpha combination therapy,Among the first six patients who received the treatment, four patients (67%) achieved near-complete remission. This level of remission is very rare in patients receiving standard treatment.

Eftilagimod alpha is a soluble LAG-3 fusion protein, a potential "first-in-class" antigen-presenting cell agonist.It utilizes the property of LAG-3 to bind with antigen-presenting cells such as dendritic cells, monocytes, and macrophages, resisting the expansion of tumor cells and presenting antigens to the adaptive immune system, stimulating the proliferation of CD4-positive and CD8-positive T cells.
