Recently, AbbVie announced an investment of approximately 150 million euros (161 million US dollars) in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.New Central Research Building "LUnA" (LUdwighafen's New Working World), and is expected to be completed in 2027.The R&D base already has more than 2,000 employees, and the new building will accommodate over 300 employees in oncology, neuroscience, and immunology, which means 300 new jobs will be created. We are creating attractive working conditions for our top scientists and attracting new talent, so that we can conduct frontier research at our facility over the long term.In January this year, AbbVie's $223 million expansion project for its Singapore production facility broke ground, which will add over 100 jobs and additional biologics manufacturing capacity, with operations expected to begin in 2026. In 2022, the company also opened a new research institute in San Francisco.AbbVie has also invested in its product pipeline and portfolio, including the $10.1 billion acquisition of ADC biotech company ImmunoGen and the $8.7 billion acquisition of CNS company Cerevel.
