Gelonghui May 14 | According to informed sources, on Tuesday, several banks will sell four types of euro-denominated bonds with maturities ranging from 2 to 10 years through Novo Nordisk's financial subsidiary in the Netherlands on behalf of the company. This marks Novo Nordisk’s first bond issuance in more than two years, aiming to fund the expansion plan for its key drugs. A Novo Nordisk spokesperson stated that the proceeds will help the Danish pharmaceutical giant acquire Catalent’s plant for $11 billion. The company is heavily investing to expand its production capacity and announced earlier this year plans to acquire three plants originally belonging to Catalent. The deal is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
