Sogou Invested $33.8K in Boyuweikang

According to Tianyancha, on May 28, 2019, Sogou has invested 33.8k dollars in Boyuweikang, Jingfang Xu, Vice President of Sogou, was added as the Director of Boyuweikang. The main product of Boyuweikang is Medical Video, a medical science project to inform the public about medical news.

Medical Video is supervised by the Health Science Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. The content involves diseases such as obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, and nervous system.

Boyuweikang was funded by Sogou because Sogou has always been interested in the field of medical care.

Sogou, Inc. is a public company, listed on the New York Stock Exchange on November 9, 2017.  The IPO raised $585 million offerings in a bid to accelerate the use of Artificial intelligence in its business. In 2018, Sogou reported net sales of $1.1 billion, net income of $98 million, and reported over $1 billion in cash. Their annual growth rate was 24% over the previous year.
