Recently, the 27th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Gene and Cell Therapy (ASGCT) officially commenced in Baltimore. As a biotechnology company dedicated to the research, production, and commercialization of innovative cancer immunotherapy drugs, Shenzhen Leman Biotech Co., Ltd. presented the latest progress of its metabolic-enhanced CD19 CAR-T cell therapy clinical study (IIT) in the "Latest Breakthroughs" session of the ASGCT Annual Meeting through an oral presentation.
Metabolism-Enhanced CD19 CAR-T Cell Therapy (Meta 10-19), the first cell therapy product developed by Leman Biotech Co., Ltd. based on its proprietary anti-T-cell exhaustion technology platform (Meta 10),The core purpose of its IIT clinical research is to verify the effectiveness and safety of the Meta 10 technology platform in practical applications.Following Leman Biotech Co., Ltd.'s presentation of positive clinical data from its IIT clinical study involving 12 patients at the "Late-Breaking Abstracts" oral session during the AACR Annual Meeting in April 2024, Leman has once again shared the latest findings from the Meta 10-19 IIT clinical study, now encompassing 18 cases, at a prestigious international academic conference.

At the ASGCT conference, Dr. Jingjing Ren, Vice Director of R&D at Leman Biotech Co., Ltd, delivered a detailed presentation titled "Updated Clinical Results of Metabolically Armored CD19 CAR-T Cells for Safe and Effective Treatment of Relapsed or Refractory B-Cell Hematological Malignancies at Extremely Low Doses."
The clinical data disclosed this time includes 18 advanced patients suffering from diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL), who, after receiving an extremely low dose of treatment (1%~5% of the commercial CAR-T dose),All achieved complete remission (CR).Notably, no severe cytokine release syndrome (CRS) or other common CAR-T-related side effects induced by the treatment were observed in these patients. These results further demonstrate that metabolically enhanced CD19 CAR-T hasExcellent efficacy and safety.
Dr. Ren Jingjing's report sparked great interest and lively exchanges among the attending experts. While highly praising Leman Biotech's clinical achievements in the field of CD19-positive hematologic tumors, the experts expressed high expectations for Leman Biotech's progress in the solid tumor field. Multiple preclinical studies on Leman Biotech's Meta 10 technology have shown promising results. This technology has demonstrated excellent immune response effects and cure rates in multiple solid tumor models.Currently, the company has successfully built multiple R&D pipelines targeting solid tumors and is fully advancing these pipelines towards clinical progress.
