Recently, ASYMCHEM (Stock Code: 002821.SZ/6821.HK, hereinafter referred to as "ASYMCHEM") announced,Acquired the API Pilot Plant and R&D Laboratory of the former Pfizer UK Sandwich Site (hereinafter referred to as "Sandwich Site"), completing the company's first European R&D and production base layout, further enhancing the global supply capability of the CDMO business.

Pfizer Sandwich Site, established in 1954, is one of the oldest R&D centers within Pfizer globally. Over the years, the Sandwich Site has consistently maintained an internationally leading level in areas such as rapid design of drug synthesis routes, high-throughput screening, advanced process and analytical development capabilities, and production and operational management capabilities. The management team and core staff have an average of over 15 years of experience in R&D and production, serving as a crucial component in the development and commercialization of Pfizer’s global small-molecule innovative drugs, and making significant contributions to Pfizer's innovative drug development progress.

Since June 2024, ASYMCHEM will fully manage and operate the R&D center and production workshops at the Sandwich Site, and will have the professional technical and management talent team originally belonging to Pfizer UK.，Achieve comprehensive, rapid, and seamless connectivity, and immediately start undertaking CDMO projects to provide high-quality services to global customers.

The company will rely on this to serve as an important pivot for its overseas layout, leveraging the synergies with existing production capacity while continuously expanding overseas production capabilities from R&D laboratories, pilot production, to commercialization.
