Mahaton Disinfection Just Received Around 1$ Million of Series A Financing

According to VCBeat, on May 22, 2019, Mahaton Disinfection just completed around 1$ million of Series A financing that was led by Zhoulin Bio-Spectrum Technology.

Mahaton Disinfection was founded by Paul Chen and Rong Zhong back in 2018, the company is a leading provider of microbial pollution prevention and solution in China. Right now, the company has developed a number of innovative products for the maternal, infant, kitchen and pet markets using its UV LED + plasma disinfection technology. The company also has obtained some relevant certifications from some domestic and foreign institutions like the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention and SGS.

Paul Chen told the reporter from VCBeat that "It is an inevitable trend to replace the existing UV mercury lamp with higher-end, safe disinfection technology". Comparing to traditional UV mercury lamps, Mahaton Disinfection's products have few advantages like:

1. It doesn't contain mercury and other harmful chemicals and no residues.

2. Stable performance, small size, portable charging.

3. Won't create drug resisting superbugs.

Paul Chen also indicated that the new round of financing would be used to support the three products that will be launched: disinfection mugs, toilet sterilizers, portable tableware sterilizers. The funds would also help Mahaton Disinfection to lower the price of their current products.
