Eli Lilly and Company Announces Launch of New Citrate-Free Formulation of Taltz®(Eli Lilly's ixekizumab injection), the concentration remains at 80 mg/mL. The new formulation received approval from the China National Medical Products Administration in November 2023 and contains the same active ingredient as the original formulation. Compared with the original formulation, Taltz...®The new formulation significantly reduced injection site pain for some patients, with an 86% reduction in the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) score compared to the original formulation.iTaltz®Approved in 2019 for the treatment of adult patients with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis who are candidates for systemic therapy or phototherapy, and approved in 2022 for adult patients with active ankylosing spondylitis who have had an inadequate response to conventional therapy.
Taltz without citrate new formula®Demonstrates safety characteristics consistent with the original formulation product. Currently, the new formulation of Taltz®Are being transported across China, with an expected widespread availability for both new and existing patients by the end of May 2024.®Provided by the patient.
