Announcement Regarding Han Shuang, Head of the Breast Cancer Treatment Field in the Oncology Area of Roche Pharmaceuticals' Customer Business Interaction Model in China
Dear colleagues,
On the 30th anniversary of Roche's entry into China, subcutaneous formulations are also coming to Chinese breast cancer patients, marking the beginning of a new era in subcutaneous tumor treatment. At the same time, Inavolisib, a therapeutic drug targeting PIK3CA mutations, and Giredesetrant, an innovative oral SERD drug, will benefit HR+ patients in the near future. The breast cancer team is taking on the crucial pioneering mission of opening a new epoch of treatment for Chinese breast cancer patients. On this occasion, we are pleased to announce:
Ms. Han Shuang will join the Breast Cancer Treatment Team in the Oncology Field of Roche Pharmaceuticals China's Customer Business Interaction Model on May 27, 2024, as the Head of the Breast Cancer Treatment Field, and will report directly to Mr. Qian Wei, General Manager of the Oncology Field in Roche Pharmaceuticals China's Customer Interaction Model.
Ms. Han Shuang has over 20 years of experience in China's pharmaceutical industry. She has held several key management positions at multinational companies such as Novartis, Sanofi, and Servier, including roles in sales management, new product launches, pipeline strategy planning, and the global marketing department. Additionally, she has two years of experience working as a clinical doctor. Before joining Roche Pharmaceuticals China, she served as the Vice President of Bayer’s prescription drug division and the General Manager of its oncology business unit, being one of the members of the global executive team. During her tenure, she led Bayer's oncology team to successfully launch several new products and secure their inclusion in China’s national medical insurance system, achieving outstanding performance in the Chinese market. Ms. Han Shuang is a people-oriented manager who excels at discovering team potential and focusing on talent development.
Ms. Han Shuang graduated from Xiangya Medical College of Central South University with a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Medicine.
Looking back, Roche's breast cancer team has helped Chinese breast cancer patients achieve treatment advancements time and again. Herceptin, Perjeta, and Kadcyla have enabled HER2-positive breast cancer patients to receive full-course treatment. In the field of breast cancer, Roche was the first to enter the subcutaneous treatment era. Once again, Roche’s breast cancer team will take on a crucial role. We hope that under the leadership of Ms. Han Shuang, the breast cancer team will advance the treatment landscape from "comprehensive treatment" to "precise cure." Let us welcome Ms. Han Shuang to Roche and look forward to the breast cancer team reaching new heights!
