Based on this multi-year collaboration, Cartography will leverage its proprietary computational and genomics platforms to discover and validate novel tumor-selective target antigens and antigen pairs. Gilead has the option to select multiple targets identified through this collaboration and will be responsible for further research, development, and commercialization of drug candidates targeting these antigens.
According to the terms of the agreement, Cartography will receive an upfront payment of $20 million, along with additional near-term preclinical milestone payments. Cartography is also eligible for development, regulatory, and commercial milestone payments for each optional program, as well as tiered royalties on net sales.
Cartography Biosciences is building a differentiatedTumor TherapyPipeline, designed to target tumors more precisely than existing therapies. Cartography's ATLAS and SUMMIT drug discovery platforms are supported by industry-leading, fully integrated datasets that cover more than a thousand cell types in the healthy human body, aiming to use healthy cells as a reference for comparative analysis.Cancer PatientsIndividual cells, accurately identifying specific targets through scalable, state-of-the-art computational algorithms.
