AccuPulse, a portfolio company of the Shanghai Biomedical Industry Fund, recently announced that it has raised nearly 200 million yuan in its Series A+ round. The round was co-led by the Shanghai Biomedical Industry Fund and the Shaoxing Binhai New Area Biomedical Industry Equity Investment Fund managed by Shengshi Investment. Recently, this financing round received an additional investment of 50 million yuan from Lanwan Sci-Tech Group.
AccuPulse Medical Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in November 2020. It is committed to the innovation of platform-based technologies in the field of cardiac electrophysiology. The company has assembled a research and development team led by well-known electrophysiology technology experts from the United States, and has received strong support from overseas returnee scientists, renowned clinical experts, and venture capital institutions. Its R&D centers are located in Suzhou and the United States.
AccuPulse has established nearly 10 product pipelines based on new technologies such as pulsed field ablation (PFA) and innovative 3D mapping, covering the complete process of diagnosis and treatment for atrial fibrillation, premature ventricular contractions, and other arrhythmia ablations.。In April 2023, AccuPulse Medical Technology Co., Ltd.'s self-developed AccuPulse Pulsed Field Ablation System successfully completed the enrollment for all clinical studies, ranking among the top tier of pulsed field product clinical research both in and outside China. It is planned to be launched simultaneously with the company’s self-developed cardiac 3D mapping system in 2025.

The AccuPulse pulsed ablation system, independently developed by AccuPulse Medical, is designed with a feature that indicates the contact between the catheter and the myocardium. This can assist doctors in determining the contact status of the catheter tip with the target tissue. Additionally, the system includes an adjustable loop diameter at the catheter tip to accommodate pulmonary veins of different sizes, while also being compatible with currently used three-dimensional mapping systems in clinical practice.The system entered the special review channel for innovative medical devices in February this year and will soon enter the registration approval stage.
It is reported that the system has completed clinical research at 8 research centers across China, with 18 electrophysiology experts jointly achieving a 100% immediate success rate during procedures.The effective rate of 12-month long-term follow-up has reached 87.7%, and the quality of life of patients after surgery has been significantly improved.。
In May 2024, AccuPulse Medical Technology Co., Ltd. showcased its pulsed ablation catheter and high-density mapping catheter at the Heart Rhythm Society's Annual Scientific Sessions 2024 (HRS 2024). Its variable loop diameter ablation catheter and uniquely designed high-density mapping catheter attracted significant attention from electrophysiology experts and peers both in China and internationally.

At the HRS conference, Dr. Jiang Chenyang's team from Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital shared the 12-month follow-up results of treating atrial fibrillation with the AccuPulse system, which met expectations with a success rate exceeding 86%, demonstrating effectiveness far surpassing the clinical outcomes of similar products.
