On June 8, 2024, the Second National Intracardiac Echocardiography Training Workshop was grandly held in Jinan, Shandong. This event, organized byHosted by the Cardiac Rhythm Branch of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, ShanThe Cardiac Rhythm Committee of the Dongsheng Biomedical Engineering Society, and Qilu Hospital of Shandong UniversityCo-organized by TINGSN Technology,A grand event that integrates ICE application experience sharing, skill enhancement, and talent cultivation has attracted the participation of numerous experts, scholars, and technicians from the cardiology field.
01
Theoretical Training

ThisThe training course was organized by Academician Zhang Yun, Professor Zhong Jingquan, and Professor Zhang Kai from Qilu Hospital of Shandong University. At the beginning of the meeting, Academician Zhang Yun, Professor Ma Changsheng from Beijing Anzhen Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University, Dean Chen Yuguo of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, and Professor Zhang Cheng of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University delivered speeches respectively.

Speech by Academician Zhang Yun
In the formal academic session, Professor Zhong Jingquan, as the host, comprehensively introduced the development history of intracardiac echocardiography (ICE) in China in a vivid and concise manner.Professor ZhongIt was mentioned that, since the introduction of ICE technology in China, it has undergone a process from initial attempts to gradual maturity. The important role of ICE in cardiac interventional surgery was emphasized, such as providing real-time imaging support and helping doctors make precise diagnoses.Professor Zhong believes that with the advancement of technology, the performance of ICE will further improve, and its application fields will become even more extensive.

Professor Zhong Jingquan from Qilu Hospital of Shandong University
Professor Jiang Chenyang from Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, School of Medicine, Zhejiang University, kicked off the morning's theoretical training with "The Surgical Procedure under ICE Guidance with Low/Zero Radiation."Professor Jiang, with his professional knowledge and extensive clinical experience, provided a detailed explanation of how ICE technology can minimize the use of radiation while ensuring surgical precision. This allowed the trainees to gain a clearer and more comprehensive understanding of this innovative surgical process.

Chenyang Jiang, Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, School of Medicine, Zhejiang UniversityProfessor
Professor Zhang Kai from Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, Professor Chen Yanbo from Weifang People's Hospital, Professor Rong Bing from Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, Professor Chen Tongshuai from Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, and Professor Qi Xuewen from Liaocheng People's Hospital also introduced ICE from different perspectives.Applications in the fields of electrophysiology and structural heart disease, and a detailed explanation of the advantages and future development trends of ICE, this imaging technology.
02
Ultrasound Catheter Operation Simulator Practice

At the ultrasound catheter operation simulator practice site, trainees use TINGSN's intracardiac ultrasound diagnostic system to perform operations on a simulated ultrasound heart model. They hold the TINGSN Sonic Eyes 10 handle in their hands, eyes fixed on the TINGSN FINDERS 1 screen, carefully sensing the feedback from every subtle movement. Instructors observe attentively nearby, occasionally offering professional guidance and suggestions to the trainees., helping students quickly master new skills, the entire scene was immersed in a strong learning atmosphere. ThroughTINGSN's Intracardiac Ultrasound Diagnosis System with Simulation UltrasoundThrough practicing with the heart model, trainees can become familiar with and master the techniques and key points of ultrasound catheter operation in advance.Improve hand-eye coordination and spatial perception, accumulate experience, reduce errors, and enhance psychological adaptability.
03
Zero Radiation Surgery Demonstration

Professor Zhang Kai from Qilu Hospital of Shandong University
After the ultrasound catheter operation simulator practice,Professors Rong Bing and Chen Tongshuai, who have extensive clinical experience with ICE, demonstrated zero-radiation atrial fibrillation and ventricular premature contraction surgeries via online live streaming. During the procedures, Professor Zhang Kai explained the surgical processes to the trainees and answered their questions.

Patient Information
The patient is a 32-year-old female who was found to have multiple ventricular premature beats two years ago, with occasional chest tightness. The symptoms were well controlled with medication, but multiple ventricular premature beats reappeared after discontinuation of the medication.
Surgical Evaluation
By Professor Zhongjingquan's TeamAfter careful preoperative evaluation, prudent consideration, and full communication with the patient and their family, radiofrequency ablation was used for treatment.
Video 2: Right Coronary Sinus Premature Ventricular Contraction, Ablation Catheter Guided by ICE to the Bottom of the Right Coronary Sinus
Video 3: Ablation catheter crosses the aortic valve for mapping in the left ventricle
Video 4: Observation of Pericardial Effusion After Ablation
ThroughThrough TINGSN Sonic Eyes 10 Real-Time Imaging for Real-Time Guidance of Radiofrequency Ablation, it helps operators monitor the occurrence of surgical complications such as thrombosis and pericardial tamponade in real time, enabling immediate prevention, diagnosis, and management of surgical complications.Through the team's excellent cooperation, the patient is in good condition with no adverse reactions after the radiofrequency ablation procedure guided by ICE.The surgery was successfully completed.
About TINGSN

Intracardiac Ultrasound Diagnostic Catheter
Product Name: Single-Use Intracardiac Ultrasound Diagnostic Catheter
Product Model: TINGSN Sonic Eyes 10
Product Introduction: This product is an innovative medical device approved by NMPA and the only domestically produced intracardiac echocardiography catheter authorized by NMPA. Its market launch signifies China's remarkable achievements in the research and development of high-end medical devices, breaking the nearly 20-year monopoly of imported products, and marking a significant milestone in China’s ultrasound field. The product provides real-time, clear visualization of cardiac structures, aiding in understanding the anatomical relationships between different parts of the heart. It can be applied to guide various cardiac interventional procedures and monitor intraoperative complications. Featuring a 64-element phased array probe, it is more suitable for intracardiac echocardiography diagnosis. The segmented design with a rounded tip reduces the risk of organ tissue injury, while the flexible distal end facilitates bending and delivery. Its four-directional bending control allows for 360° observation of cardiac structures. Additionally, the unique temperature monitoring system enables real-time tracking of probe temperature, reducing the risk of thermal injury during surgery.

Portable Color Ultrasound Diagnostic System
Product Name: Portable Color Ultrasound Diagnostic System
Product Model: TINGSN FINDERS 1
Product Introduction: This product uses a 15.6-inch high-definition LCD display and is equipped with software that features 14 image post-processing functions and 10 imaging modes, making ultrasound images clearer and more accurate. The main unit of this product weighs less than 5 kilograms, with a cleverly designed handle for portability. When used with our company's "Disposable Intracardiac Ultrasound Diagnostic Catheter," it provides real-time, clear visualization of cardiac structures and can be applied to guide various cardiac interventional procedures and monitor intraoperative complications. The innovative connection design, prominent alignment markers, and locking protection make the connection with the catheter more convenient and reliable.
