On June 20, Huadong Medicine announced that its orally administered small molecule GLP-1 receptor agonist HDM1002 tablets achieved positive results in Phase Ia and Ib clinical trials in China, with an average weight loss of 4.9% to 6.8% from baseline in the target dose group.
On the same day, Tonghua Dongbao Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. announced that its GLP-1/GIP dual-target receptor agonist THDBH120 has initiated a Phase Ib clinical trial for blood sugar reduction and has recently completed the first patient dosing.
