On June 21, 2024, AbbVie registered a Phase III clinical trial on Clinicaltrials.gov for the IL-1α/β antibody Lutikizumab in the treatment of Hidradenitis Suppurativa.

This Phase III clinical trial plans to enroll 1,280 patients with hidradenitis suppurativa and is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.

In January this year, AbbVie announced the excellent phase II clinical data of Lutikizumab in the treatment of hidradenitis suppurativa.
