Notably, Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited and Shanghai Pharmaceuticals also entered the "Global Most Valuable Medical Device Brands List" for the first time this year.
Brand Finance stated: "The importance of China's pharmaceutical groups and medical service institutions continues to grow. With the continuous advancement of professional technology and significant improvements in industry efficiency, production costs are constantly decreasing. This provides new opportunities for Chinese pharmaceutical companies to gradually become global well-known brands, while also presenting new challenges." It is reported that Chinese pharmaceutical enterprises are actively pursuing international strategic layouts. Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries are continuously 'going global,' establishing international headquarters, signing cooperation agreements with Cuba's biopharmaceutical group, and hosting the 2024 China-Vietnam Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Inheritance and Development Forum in Vietnam. After setting up an international headquarters in Macao, Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited collaborated with Academician Zhong Nanshan's team and Macao University of Science and Technology to promote the industrialization of Baiyunshan Isatidis Radix and Baiyunshan Compound Isatidis Radix research results in Macao, supporting the local pharmaceutical industry's development.
