On June 24, 2024, GSK registered a Phase III clinical trial on Clinicaltrials.gov for the combination of PD-1 antibody Dostarlimab and TIGIT antibody Belrestotug as first-line treatment in patients with high PD-L1 expression NSCLC.

This Phase III clinical trial plans to enroll 1,000 patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer and is expected to be preliminarily completed by September 2028.

This phase III clinical trial is a head-to-head comparison with Keytruda.

Summary
Following Roche, BeiGene, and Merck, GSK has also advanced PD-1+TIGIT into Phase III clinical trials. Although TIGIT has experienced its share of clinical setbacks, several companies still hold high hopes for TIGIT.Belrestotug was developed by iTeos. In June 2021, GSK acquired Belrestotug for $650 million upfront plus $1.45 billion in milestone payments.
