On June 25, it was reported that Jiaxing Andikang Biotechnology Co., Ltd. ("Andikang Bio") officially announced the completion of an over 200 million yuan Series A round of financing. This round of financing was jointly led by Simcere Pharmaceutical, Huajin Investment, and Huajin Avenue, with continued investment from existing shareholders Tongchuang Weiyue and Jiaxing Xinchuang Venture Capital. Jiarui Future Star, Jinsha River United Runpu Medical Fund, Wenzhou Investment, Songze Capital, and Shunjie Health also participated in the investment.
It is reported that Andikang (Wuxi) Biotechnology Co., Ltd. is an innovative pharmaceutical company focused on developing groundbreaking therapeutic drugs in the fields of respiratory infections and pain. The company's pipeline includes several innovative drugs against respiratory pathogens, such as the anti-influenza new drug Mavdenosvir, the anti-respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) new drug ADC789 suspension, and the novel anti-mycoplasma super antibiotic ADC101 suspension, as well as the innovative drug ADC308 tablets for the treatment of endometriosis and uterine fibroids.
The proceeds from this round of financing will be used for the preclinical and clinical development of Andikang Biotechnology's core product pipeline, particularly to accelerate the pediatric clinical trials and commercialization progress of its self-developed anti-influenza Class 1 new drug, Mavdenoxavir (code name ADC189), in tablet and granule forms.
METiS TechBio: Completes $100 Million Series C Financing
Recently, METiS TechBio announced the completion of its $100 million Series C financing round, led by a fund under CICC Capital, with participation from Taiping Hong Kong Insurance Innovation Fund under China Taiping.
METiS TechBio is an innovative biotechnology company focusing on "AI + drug delivery". It has three core AI-powered technology platforms: the self-developed AI-driven nucleic acid delivery system design platform (AiLNP), the AI-driven mRNA sequence design platform (AiRNA), and the AI-driven small molecule formulation design platform (AiTEM). The company has also developed a proprietary technical route that deeply integrates dry and wet lab experiments. According to reports, Phrontline Biopharma is a company firmly committed to original innovation in ADC drugs. Its proprietary technology platform covers the four core technologies of ADC drugs (payload, linker, conjugation method, antibody) and has rapidly established antibody discovery and bispecific antibody preparation platforms, a Linker-Payload design and synthesis platform, and a site-specific and stoichiometric conjugation technology platform.
Currently, the company is rapidly advancing multiple bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) pipelines.
