Gelonghui June 28 | According to the statistics by reporters on medical device recall information published by the National Medical Products Administration in the past year (July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024), Medtronic, a well-known medical device company, has the highest number of voluntary recalls with a total of 23, surpassing its peers such as Olympus (13), Philips (6), and Siemens (3). These recalls involve 36 batches of products, including mobile O-arm X-ray machines. Among Medtronic's 23 voluntary recalls in the past year, only two involved China, with a total of 12,569 units sold domestically, of which 12,367 were external drainage devices sold in China.
