From June 26 to 29, the 2024 China Fundus Disease Academic Exchange Conference & International Retina Symposium, and the 2024 Mingmu China Myopia Prevention and Control Conference & International Myopia Symposium were held at the Wuxi International Conference Center. These two major events in the field of ophthalmology are highly influential in the industry. According to statistics from the organizers, the total number of attendees during the conference period exceeded 30,000.

The conference was brilliant, featuring both experts' sharing and discussions on the frontier of the discipline and a related product exhibition covering nearly 9,000 square meters. Experts at the conference emphasized the importance of early screening for eye diseases in the two special age groups of elderly and children, which could reduce the burden on families and society. Great attention should be paid to monitoring children's vision, with implementation differentiated by academic stage and region. Conducting differentiated vision detection, screening, and intervention for children aged 0-6 years and 7-18 years can significantly enhance regional child vision protection capabilities. Various sub-venues also presented and exchanged information on the latest development trends in product technology, disease trends and prevention, surgical procedure advancements, and progress in drugs and medical devices.

Fuhan Medical showcased the research and product achievements of intelligent devices for pediatric eye health diagnosis and treatment across different age groups. Its globally pioneering OCT wide-field fundus imaging system for newborns and toddlers, the latest Ultra fluorescent imaging, portable mini wide-field fundus imaging system, and the intelligent children's vision screening system became the highlights of the event. This grand gathering brought together top experts and investment elites from the global ophthalmology field to discuss the latest advancements and future trends in retinal disease treatment.


Fuhan Medical's New Product Launch Invites Professor Liu Qinghuai from Jiangsu Provincial People’s Hospital, Professor Zhao Peiquan from Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Professor Lu Fang from West China Hospital of Sichuan University, and Director Wu Guangqiang from Nanjing Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital to attend and deliver keynote speeches. They highly praised the Keruitong series of products, believing that it will greatly promote the early detection and treatment of pediatric fundus diseases and improve the diagnostic and treatment standards of the entire industry. Experts also presented a special report on the intelligent pediatric vision screening system, stating that Fuhan’s infant and toddler vision screening device, currently in the clinical stage, combines artificial intelligence technology with optical analysis technology for qualitative and quantitative clinical vision examinations, making rapid and accurate preschool vision screening possible. Fuhan Medical stated that the pediatric field is not yet as rich in products as the adult optometry and diagnostics field. Service providers covering optometric diagnosis and treatment for all pediatric age groups still need to be established. Through continuous innovation, advanced optometric technologies and products covering different age groups of children will be developed. Working together with doctors and experts in pediatric ophthalmology, one day pediatric ophthalmology can flourish with technology and products like adult ophthalmology, protecting the bright future of China’s children.

New Product Launch: Perfecting the Contact Product System, Leading the Technological Frontier


Fuhan Medical was established in 2018. Its self-developed CreoTome ophthalmic wide-field imaging system KRS-01 has been launched in the market. It is the world's first product to increase the field of view to 160 degrees, greatly facilitating the display of peripheral fundus lesions and reducing missed diagnoses. Currently, this technology can also achieve free adjustment of the field of view at 90°/130°/160°, making it convenient to form a high-definition view that fits the user's habits.

The newly released products this time — Kiretem Mini, Ultra, and the first-generation model KRS-01 — also feature wireless portability. Among them, the "small and precise" Kiretem-Mini handle weighs only 200g.

The Corretor series products also feature intelligent automatic image capture, AI-assisted diagnosis, and one-click film reading. They enable navigation for capturing all areas of the fundus, real-time image quality analysis, and provide high-efficiency, zero-latency fully automatic shooting.


The world's first innovative optical coherence tomography (OCT) scanner for newborn ophthalmology, currently under development (specifications and model: Kiretem-OCT), has entered the innovative product registration process. This product is the only OCT device suitable for infant fundus imaging both domestically and internationally, effectively filling the technical gap for contact-based OCT applicable to infants. With its self-developed contact optical lens, it fully meets the clinical needs of pediatric ophthalmologists for OCT imaging and holds significant social value.

As a powerful tool for neonatal and infant fundus examination, the Creton series products provide domestic momentum for the integration of pediatric care departments and ophthalmic technology, greatly enhancing the accessibility of wide-field fundus imaging technology among young children in China, ensuring the healthy growth of Chinese babies' eyes from the first step.
