Beijing News (Reporter Zhang Zhaohui) On July 18, Lunan Pharmaceutical announced that Shandong New Time Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.'s Gadopentetate Dimeglumine Injection (brand name: Yinquan) has been approved for marketing. The approved specifications are 10ml:4.69g, 15ml:7.04g, and 20ml:9.38g. This approval is considered as passing the consistency evaluation of quality and efficacy for generic drugs.
Gadopentetate Dimeglumine Injection is currently the most commonly used paramagnetic contrast agent in clinical practice in China. It is mainly used for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of organs and tissues such as the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord), abdomen, chest, pelvis, and limbs. After intravenous injection into the body, it alters the relaxation time of local tissues, enhancing the clarity and contrast of MRI images. With a wide range of indications, high imaging quality, excellent clinical effectiveness, and a low incidence of adverse reactions, it holds significant diagnostic importance for brain tumors, space-occupying lesions, postoperative evaluations, and lesion extent.
Lunan Pharmaceutical is the third manufacturer in China to receive full specification approval for this product, with the other two being Guangzhou Kangchen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Beijing Beilu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
