July 30, 2024, Shenzhen, China, and Redwood City, California, USA — LTZ Therapeutics (referred to as “LTZ”), announced the completion of its Series A financing round, raising over 20 million US dollars. This round was led by Lapam Capital with participation from Hillhouse Ventures, and received additional investment from existing shareholders including Qiming Venture Partners, K2VC, and Shunwei Capital. Since its establishment in 2022, the company has raised approximately 50 million US dollars in total.
LTZ Therapeutics is committed to developing novel immunotherapies based on the "Myeloid Engager Platform" technology to better address unmet clinical needs in areas such as cancer and autoimmune diseases. The newly raised funds from this round will primarily be used to accelerate the development of LTZ’s pipeline, including filing for Investigational New Drug (IND) applications, initiating the Phase I clinical study of the first candidate, LTZ-301, and conducting IND-enabling work for the second candidate, LTZ-232. Additionally, the funds will support the rapid advancement of other ongoing projects and further expand the global team.
