Recently, the completion ceremony of Qihan Biotech's CGT (Cell and Gene Therapy) platform was held at the Jindi Xindao Lan Valley Life Science Park in Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou. Wang Xinlai, Standing Deputy Commander of Jiangnan Sci-Tech City Corps and Director of the Sci-Tech City Administration Bureau, Qian Guoen, Deputy Director of the District Science and Technology Bureau, Lou Taoyuan, and Huang Haijun, Deputy Directors of the Sci-Tech City Administration Bureau, attended the ceremony.

Hangzhou Qihan Biotech Co., Ltd. is a biotechnology company that applies high-throughput gene editing technology to the fields of cell therapy and organ transplantation, possessing globally leading innovative technology in the cell therapy sector. The newly constructed 2,500-square-meter GMP-level platform is designed in accordance with the regulatory requirements of the NMPA, FDA, and others, and can support the research, development, and production of cell and gene therapy products.

Lou Taoyuan pointed out in his speech that Qihan Biotech is an outstanding representative of scientific and technological innovation in Jiangnan Sci-Tech City. Over the past six years, Qihan Biotech has not only witnessed the development of Jiangnan Sci-Tech City but also led the city in continuously pioneering innovations in the biopharmaceutical field. Going forward, Jiangnan Sci-Tech City will continue to support the development of Qihan Biotech as always, and hopes that Qihan Biotech will prosper further and make greater contributions to the high-quality development of Jiangnan Sci-Tech City.
