March Biosciences today announced the successful completion of an oversubscribed $28.4 million Series A financing. The proceeds will be used to support the Phase 2 clinical development of its lead investigational program, MB-105, and further optimize the production process.
The company'sMB-105, the flagship therapy, is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy designed to treat relapsed and refractory CD5-positive T-cell lymphoma. MB-105 is specifically engineered to overcome major obstacles associated with T-cell targeting, effectively addressing T-cell fratricide while maintaining potent cytotoxicity against CD5-positive tumor cells.MB-105 Demonstrates Good Safety and Durable Responses in a Phase 1 Clinical Trial for Relapsed T-cell Lymphoma Patients at Baylor College of Medicine. The company plans to initiate Phase 2 clinical trials in early 2025.
