Dr. Hui Ning Liu, founder, chairman and CEO of Hengsai Biotech, expressed her deep gratitude to all parties who have supported the company's development. She stated that the opening of Hengsai Biotech’s Zhongshan R&D Center is an important milestone in the company’s development. Hengsai Biotech will take this as a starting point to accelerate its development process in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Guided by clinical needs and driven by technological innovation, the company is committed to developing safer, more effective, and affordable DC vaccine products, leading a new wave of global cell therapy.

Hengsai Biotech, founded in 2018, is an innovative technology enterprise dedicated to the research and industrialization of dendritic cell vaccines (DC vaccines) and a national high-tech enterprise. The company has successfully built the Eco-DC Vax platform, aiming to break through industrialization technological barriers and develop safe, efficient, convenient-to-administer, high-quality First-in-Class DC vaccine products with independent intellectual property rights globally.

The company's first pipeline product, KSD-101, has successfully completed dual submissions in China and the United States, receiving the Investigational New Drug (IND) approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This is China's first original dendritic cell vaccine (DC vaccine) product to receive FDA IND approval. The company has now established stable cooperative relationships with multiple domestic and international research institutions and Class III Grade A hospitals to conduct clinical research and technical collaborations, comprehensively verifying the clinical safety and efficacy of the DC vaccine.

Hengsai Biotech Zhongshan R&D Center is one of the key layouts of Hengsai Biotech's globalization strategy, located on the 2nd floor of Building 11, Zhongshan Life Science Park. Covering an area of approximately 1000 square meters, it includes one central laboratory and two R&D/pilot production workshops. It can meet a series of needs for the research, preparation, and testing of dendritic cell vaccines for IIT clinical studies, while also fulfilling the iterative upgrade requirements of the company’s globally leading Eco-Dc Vax platform. After its activation, it will further enhance the company’s R&D capabilities.
