Huahai Pharmaceutical (600521.SH) announced that its subsidiary, Shanghai Huaota Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. ("Huaota"), has received approval from New Zealand's Medicines and Medical Devices Safety Authority ("MEDSAFE") and the Health and Disability Ethics Committee ("HDEC") to conduct a Phase I clinical trial of the HB0056 injection in the local area.

HB0056 is a recombinant humanized IgG1 bispecific antibody that simultaneously targets human thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) and interleukin-11 (IL-11).
