Novartis Attends the CIIE for the Seventh Time, Showcasing Innovative Drugs

The 7th China International Import Expo Opens,Novartis participated in the exhibition with the theme "Focus on Innovative Medicines, Share a Healthy Future."Over the past seven years, Novartis has accelerated the introduction of global innovative drugs to China through the CIIE platform, with nearly 40 innovative drugs and indications approved in China. These include the world's first small interfering RNA cholesterol-lowering drug Leqvio, the innovative breast cancer treatment Kisqali, the world’s first approved fully human interleukin (IL)-17A inhibitor Cosentyx, and the world’s first customized fully human anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody Kesimpta for multiple sclerosis patients. These innovations have expedited their market entry in China thanks to the "spillover effect" of the CIIE. At this year's CIIE, Novartis showcased its product lines across four core therapeutic areas and five technology platforms, accelerating the introduction of innovative drugs into China.
