Dr. Yongliang Fang, COO of Doer Biologics, Showcases Breakthrough Trispecific Agonist DR10624 at 2024 Jilin-Zhejiang Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Conference

"2024 Jilin-Zhejiang Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Conference" is jointly organized by the Jilin Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the CPC Jilin Municipal Committee, and the Jilin Municipal People's Government. It is undertaken by the Jilin Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, Jilin Provincial Academy of Science and Technology Innovation, and Zhejiang Science and Technology Exchange and Talent Service Center. The conference aims to further promote the deepening and solidification of science and technology innovation cooperation between Jilin and Zhejiang, ensure practical implementation and tangible results, and foster a new pattern of highly collaborative cooperation.

At the conference in the morning, Dr. Yongliang Fang introduced the history, recent developments, the company's team, and scientific research achievements in recent years of Doer Biologics. Dr. Fang also highlighted the four major technology platforms of Doer Biologics (SMART-VHHBody, AccuBody, MultipleBody, xLONGylation) and the innovative product pipeline developed based on these platforms. To date, the company has five products in clinical trials, three of which are in the metabolic field, covering currently significant metabolic diseases. Particularly noteworthy is DR10624, a first-in-class triple agonist simultaneously targeting FGF21R, GLP-1R, and GCG receptors, which has the potential to become a best-in-class treatment.

Regarding the three targets of DR10624, Dr. Fang Yongliang pointed out that the GLP-1 target is mainly for lowering blood sugar and reducing weight, but its effect on blood lipids is very limited; the GCG target has better weight loss and lipid-lowering effects, but when used alone, it may increase blood sugar. The combination and simultaneous activation of GLP-1, GCG, and FGF21 targets can achieve comprehensive pharmacological effects such as lowering blood lipids, reducing weight, and improving insulin sensitivity, providing full control and improvement over the "three highs" (high blood sugar, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol). Therefore, DR10624 is expected to become a potential optimal biologic for treating metabolic diseases.

In addition, Dr. Fang Yongliang also presented on-site the excellent clinical data of DR10624 in clearing high triglycerides, reducing weight, alleviating insulin resistance, and eliminating liver fat in humans.
