Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Awards Conference successfully concluded. The Bone Marrow Transplantation Center of the Hematology Department at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine...Professor Huang HeProjects jointly carried out by the team in collaboration with enterprises such as IASO Bio"Development of Novel CAR-T Cells and Establishment of an Innovative System for Clinical Translation in the Treatment of Malignant Hematological Diseases"AwardedFirst Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of Zhejiang Province。

To address the international challenges of low lymphoma remission rates and high recurrence rates of leukemia and myeloma in CAR-T immunocyte therapy for refractory and relapsed malignant hematological diseases, the project team has conducted groundbreaking fundamental research, developed novel CAR-T therapies, and achieved clinical translation, resulting in multiple original achievements. Among these, the technical highlights contributed by IASO Bio are:

Professor Huang He's project team has developed six new CAR-T products/solutions and published 12 key academic papers in response to the three major international challenges, achieving groundbreaking original academic results and significant clinical translation. These include: promoting the first China self-developed CAR-T product, Idecabtagene Vicleucel Injection, to market; leading three China IND clinical studies; facilitating one U.S. IND clinical study; conducting ten first-in-human clinical studies; publishing 93 high-quality academic papers; leading the formulation of four CAR-T treatment clinical expert consensuses; editing the first "CAR-T Cell Immunotherapy" (People's Health Publishing House); and forming an internationally leading innovative system: a novel CAR-T cell research and development and its clinical translation innovation system for treating malignant hematological diseases.
