On December 2, 2024, Wuhan Neurophth Biotechnology Limited Company announced the appointment of Dr. Zhengbin Li as Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Zhengbin Li will be fully responsible for Neurophth's daily operations, including corporate operations, production operations, commercial operations, financial management, and human resources management. Dr. Zhengbin Li will focus on leading the company to establish a strong presence in Wuhan, achieve stable development, rapidly advance clinical research, and better serve global ophthalmic patients amidst a challenging external environment.

Dr. Li Zhengbin joined Neurophth in 2021 as the Vice President of Commercial. Over the past three years, he has successively taken on roles such as Head of Business Development and Strategic Alliances, Head of Pipeline Strategy, Deputy General Manager of Neurophth's Shanghai Subsidiary, Head of Government Affairs, Deputy General Manager of Neurophth's Suzhou Subsidiary, Assistant to the CEO, and Head of Operations, consistently demonstrating exceptional leadership.

Dr. Li Zhengbin has over 15 years of extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on the commercialization of innovative products. Before joining Dr. Li, he held leadership positions in commercial, strategic, business development, and strategic alliance roles at multinational pharmaceutical companies such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, Sanofi, Bayer, Novartis, and Johnson & Johnson. At Novartis, he was a key member of the Lucentis launch commercial team and also a member of the Global Ophthalmology Management Team. At Bayer, he was part of the Global Ophthalmology Management Core Team, successfully leading the commercial launch of Eylea in China, establishing an ophthalmology commercial team, and guiding the product's successful inclusion in the national medical insurance system. Dr. Li holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Olin Business School at Washington University, a Ph.D. from Peking Union Medical College, and completed his postdoctoral research at the Yale University School of Medicine.
