January 3, 2025, Shenzhen Grail Bio Co., Ltd. announced the appointment of Dr. Jie Jia as Chief Operating Officer (COO). The above appointment has taken effect as of today.

Dr. Jie Jia has over 20 years of strategic leadership experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare fields, with extensive expertise particularly in managing complex projects, establishing new businesses, optimizing processes, and guiding critical decision-making. Before joining Grail Bio, Dr. Jie Jia held senior management positions at CARsgen Therapeutics, successfully transforming the company from a start-up to a publicly listed entity through establishing and leading U.S. business operations.

Before transitioning to the industry, Dr. Jia held the position of Assistant Professor at Cleveland Clinic and Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Jia holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Sichuan University, a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a Postdoctoral Certificate in Molecular Medicine from Cleveland Clinic, and a Master of Business Administration in Leadership and Digital Marketing from Youngstown State University.
