
Ophthalmic Medical Device R&D, Production, and Sales

Recently, DisionTech (Shenzhen DisionTech Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd.) announced the completion of a multi-million yuan Series A financing round. The funds will primarily be used for clinical trials of the intelligent corneal cross-linking device and the sales promotion of the meibomian gland treatment device.
DisionTech, established in 2019, is an independent innovation-driven high-tech enterprise that focuses on the research, development, production, sales, and service of ophthalmic medical devices. DisionTech has been deeply engaged in the innovation of ophthalmic equipment, concentrating on the domestic substitution of high-end ophthalmic medical devices in China. Its product lines cover various areas such as dry eye syndrome, vision correction, and ocular surgeries. The company’s technical research and development are supported by the Shenzhen Bio-Manufacturing Technology and Application Engineering Laboratory at Tsinghua University's Shenzhen International Graduate School. It has completed the development and integration of the entire supply chain for meibomian gland treatment devices and intelligent corneal cross-linking instruments. Currently, DisionTech is actively working on the R&D of second-generation meibomian gland treatment devices, home-use dry eye treatment equipment, and advanced anterior segment OCTs for ophthalmology.
DisionTech's self-developed intelligent visualized meibomian gland therapeutic device, DisionEyemore (Yue Medical Device Registration No. 20242160609), has obtained the first certificate for a domestically produced meibomian gland therapeutic device in China. It successfully obtained the production license in June and achieved its first sale at an independent private hospital in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in the same month.
Intelligent Visual Meibomian Gland Treatment Device DisionEyemore innovatively adopts "electric heating," integrating advanced thermal pulsation technology with a high-precision visualization system. During the treatment process, the upper and lower meibomian glands are heated to an optimal therapeutic temperature of 40-42.5°C, rapidly softening meibum with a heating range of 17.18mm. A single eyelid treatment takes only 2-3 minutes to effectively unclog and restore meibomian gland function. Patients experience only a warm sensation throughout the non-invasive and painless procedure. The main unit of the treatment device is equipped with a 1.5-inch RGB color screen and a camera function, which not only displays real-time temperature and pressure to assist doctors in developing personalized treatment plans and evaluating treatment outcomes but also records the entire treatment process for easy tracking of efficacy by doctors. It allows intuitive presentation of treatment results to patients, addressing the limitation of similar products that can only be observed through a magnifying glass without the ability to capture photographic records.
The intelligent corneal cross-linking instrument is another key product of DisionTech. This product is specifically designed for corneal conditions such as keratoconus, utilizing a specific cross-linking technology to enhance the biomechanical strength of the cornea, slow down or halt the progression of the disease, and improve corneal-related symptoms. Corneal cross-linking is currently the clinically recognized mainstream treatment to delay the progression of keratoconus, aiming to avoid progression to corneal transplantation.
