LTZ Therapeutics Secures $40 Million Series A+ Financing to Advance Myeloid Cell Engager Pipeline

This round of financing was led by New Investment Party, Wanshi Ventures.(Zoo Capital, a venture capital firm under Boyu Investment)Led by. Five Source Capital（5Y Capital）、BlueRun Ventures（Lanchi Ventures）, Duxiu Capital（Unicorn Capital Partners）, Follicular Lymphoma Innovation Research Institute（Institute for Follicular Lymphoma Innovation，IFLI）Joint participation.Existing shareholder Longpan Investment（Lapam Capital）、Hillhouse Ventures（GL Ventures）Continued investment. Chenglin Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor for this round of financing. Since its establishment in 2022, LTZ Therapeutics Inc. has raised a total of 90 million US dollars.

The press release noted that the newly raised funds from this round will be mainly used to support itsPhase 1 Clinical Study of the First Candidate Drug LTZ-301`, Promote`Preparation for IND Submission of the Second Candidate Drug LTZ-232 for Pan-Solid Tumor Indications, while also supporting the research and development of other early-stage projects and the expansion of the global team.

LTZ-301Is a novel type of myeloid cell junction（MCE）Bispecific antibodies, by enhancing Fcγ receptors（FcγR）Non-dependent Antibody-dependent Cellular Phagocytosis（ADCP）ComeClear CD79b-positive B cellsCD79b is a unique tumor antigen receptor that is highly expressed in B-cell malignancies, including tumor cells that are relapsed or refractory after treatment with existing CD19 or CD20 targeted therapies. LTZ-301 enhances the phagocytic activity of these immune cells and eliminates cancer cells by redirecting monocytes and macrophages to CD79b-positive B cells.

In February this year, LTZ Therapeutics announced that the U.S. FDA had approved the IND application for LTZ-301.
