Innovative Drug Developer
On May 4, 2025, local time, the ARVO 2025 Annual Meeting of The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) grandly opened in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. This year's conference focuses oni3"Imagining, Innovation and Intelligence" as the theme, attracted nearly 12,000 researchers, clinicians, and industry leaders from over 60 countries around the world to jointly explore the applications and future development in the field of vision science.
VIVAVISION Presents Core R&D Pipelines VVN461 and VVN481 at ARVO, Showcasing Impressive Research Results. These two pipelines are innovative ophthalmic anti-inflammatory drugs independently developed by the company, covering anterior and posterior segment anti-inflammatory needs. The VVN461 eye drops have completed Phase 2 clinical trials in both China and the United States, achieving exciting efficacy results.
VVN461, as a non-hormonal JAK1/TYK2 dual-target inhibitor, can effectively suppress the production of inflammatory factors by blocking the JAK/STAT signaling pathway, thereby alleviating ocular inflammation. Clinical trial data show that this inhibitor performs excellently in terms of safety, efficacy, and patient tolerability, offering promising new treatment options for patients with ophthalmic inflammatory diseases.
VVN481 is a next-generation posterior ocular anti-inflammatory product developed by VIVAVISION based on the same anti-inflammatory target, taking into account the specific requirements of posterior ocular anti-inflammatory needs. VIVAVISION has extended the molecule's sustained-release capability through formulation improvements and molecular research to achieve long-term anti-inflammatory treatment. This pipeline has already yielded effective preclinical data in animal models and is expected to advance to clinical trials soon.
